Spanish-born, London-based fine artist, Coco Capitán, has showcased her work in galleries worldwide and is also known for her famed Gucci ‘Art Wall’ murals. LOSER is her latest offering, designed in collaboration with ripple⁺.
LOSER is decked out in Big Tobacco’s go-to shade: a drab, dark brown colour chosen by health authorities in the belief it would prevent consumers from being attracted to nicotine products.
In contrast to ripple’s usually positive-sounding aroma names, Coco’s vision was for an unattractive and ‘uncool’ product, laced with her signature social commentary. “I wanted to refer to smokers as ‘losers’,” she explains.
The shell of the ripple⁺ MAX as you’ve never seen it before: the brushed metal exterior is finished with a hand-scratched logo debossed into the device.
An apartment “full of old mahogany furniture with a gloss finish” provides the inspiration behind the aroma.“I wanted to capture this visual discomfort in an aroma,” adds Coco.

Just got it today. So far I like it. I like the hints of black pepper. It has a really strong aftertaste but it's okay. I wanted something like a vape but that's not a vape. I tried vaping once and because of my health conditions I really shouldn't vape and these all have natural ingredients so I thought I would try these 🥰
